Open Enrollment is Right Around the Corner
For those of you under individual health plans the time has come to see what’s available for 2017. Major changes have occurred in the individual market causing many of your plans to expire. As we have said earlier this year, PPOs plans will not be available on the individual market. Many insurance companies have completely abandoned the individual all together.
So what can you do?
Starting November 1st you are able to enroll in a new plan starting January 1st. This means you should start looking now to see what plans will fit your needs… Especially if you had a PPO in 2016. Make sure to contact us as soon as possible to get a head start.
Also, remember you can only enroll in an individual plan from November 1st – January 31st. After these dates you are no longer able to enroll as an individual unless you have a qualifying event. If you decide not to enroll remember there are fines for being uninsured.
